Hair transplant post operative care

Hair transplant post operative care:
It should be avoided to consume the drugs interfere with the blood coagulation until some days after hair transplant. These medicines contain aspirin, ibuprofen, indomethacin, diclofenac, mefnamic acid, celexib, celecoxib, piroxicam, vitamin E and multi vitamins.  
An antibiotic is prescribed for most patients after hair transplant surgery to reduce infection probabilities.
The head is dressed after operation and the patient can take a shower after 48 to 72 hours without any need to further dressings.
The patient is not allowed to do physical practices or heavy activities for 5 days, and swimming for 10 days.
The sutures are drawn after 10 days of hair transplant operation.
There is no need of supplementary medicines and hair supplements, but vitamin C can be used for accelerating restoration.
The transplanted hairs shed after 2 to 4 weeks of operation and regrow 2 to 3 months later, which is accompanied by pruritis and transient rashes.
The best results may be obvious after 6 to 8 months or even a year after the surgery.
Some patients require two sessions of hair transplant operation in order to transplant more hair strains. The operation interval is recommended to be as far as 6 to 12 months.
